Meet the Ducks!

Shelby is a Pekin duck with a big personality and an even bigger love for water. She prefers spending her days alongside her best buddies, Vinny and Guillermo, with Frank the goose never far behind as her loyal and watchful protector. Shelby is one of the chattiest residents at Wildwood and always has something to say. If given the choice, she'd happily spend hours swimming in the pond, splashing to her heart's content. She's also infamous for hopping into every freshly filled water tub the moment volunteers finish cleaning it—as far as Shelby is concerned, every water source is meant for swimming!

Guillermo is rarely seen without his best friend, Vinny. The two are practically joined at the hip and, together with Shelby, make up one of Wildwood's most inseparable trios. Whether they're swimming laps around the pond, searching for tasty bugs in the mud, or waddling off on little adventures, they're almost always together. Guillermo loves spending his days splashing in the water, turning freshly cleaned areas into delightfully muddy messes, and sneaking away for hidden naps by the pond with his friends. 

Elvis is Wildwood's one-of-a-kind Muscovy duck, born as a happy surprise to Reba and Roberto. Although Roberto has since passed, Elvis has remained a devoted mama's boy and can almost always be found close to Reba's side instead of mingling with the rest of the duck flock. Unlike most ducks, Muscovies don't quack. Instead, Elvis communicates with soft hisses, expressive chirps, and his signature tail wag, which he does whenever he's excited or happy. 

Reba is Elvis's devoted mom, and the two can often be found chatting back and forth throughout the day in their own special Muscovy language. She's a loving mother who prefers to stay close to her son and enjoys life on her own terms. Fast on her feet and a little wary of people, Reba appreciates having her space, and we happily respect her boundaries. One thing she never passes up, though, is a freshly cleaned pool. As soon as the water is replaced, you can count on Reba being the first to hop in for a swim.

Patsy is one of our sweet Muscovy ducks and is known for her quiet, observant nature. More reserved than her friend Reba, Patsy often prefers a peaceful corner where she can relax, especially when she's feeling broody and would rather sit out the day's activities. When she's in a more social mood, though, Patsy's playful side shines through. She loves taking long baths, carefully preening her feathers, and happily chirping away to Reba as if she has all the latest duck gossip to share.

Vinny is one-third of Wildwood's favorite duck trio, alongside his best friends Guillermo and Shelby. Always chatting, waddling, and quacking his way through the day, Vinny faithfully follows his two companions wherever their adventures take them. If one of them is on the move, Vinny is sure to be right behind. Whether they're splashing through the pond, digging up muddy patches in search of bugs, or exploring together, Vinny is happiest with his little flock. He especially enjoys swimming circles around Shelby and, when the excitement winds down, you can usually find him curled up for a nap not far from Guillermo.
