A feel-good escape where self-care meets sanctuary life, in collaboration with Firelight Yoga.
Wander the grounds on a guided tour and hike, flow through a gentle yoga session, and unwind in a calming sound bath. Along the way, you’ll meet rescued farm animals, each with their own story, ready to connect and inspire.
Enjoy fresh air, peaceful views, and a delicious grazing table provided by Cultured Kindness, all while supporting a mission rooted in compassion and respect for all beings. Plus, don’t miss the chance to win some fun raffle prizes!
Whether you’re coming to relax, recharge, or simply spend time with animals and community, this is your invitation to slow down and soak it all in.
Some friendly reminders

Bring hiking-appropriate footwear, a water bottle, and protection from the weather (sunscreen, jacket, etc.)

Take any allergy precautions necessary

BYOM: Bring your own mat!

Carpooling is requested where possible

Treats for the residents are encouraged

Approved treats: bananas, baby carrots, lettuce, watermelon, black/blueberries

Wildwood is a vegan sanctuary, so we ask that you please leave any animal products and non-vegan food items at home or off the property out of respect for our mission and the residents who live here.
In the event of rainy/inclement weather, the event may be rescheduled.

Important information:

PARKING: Google/Apple maps will take you to the sanctuary gate on North Valley Road. HOWEVER, this year parking will be in the orchard off of Ribbon Ridge Road. Please follow this map and road signs! Note that it will be a walk from parking to the even that entails uneven ground.

FOOTWEAR: Please wear sturdy close-toed shoes that you don't mind getting dirty and wet. We have uneven ground, holes, etc.--please be careful.

HEAT ADVISORY: Please bring water bottle, sunscreen, hats, etc., it is supposed to be warm!

NO COMPANION ANIMALS: not in cars, not on leashes, not on premises. We love your furry (scaley, feathered, etc.) friends, but none are allowed on site for safety reasons.

Please bring any allergy precautions you may need. Be mindful that we are a working sanctuary in a rural area and have critters on site, and bees, hay, and pollen.

CASH: is appreciated and quickest! But we also take cards, Venmo, and PayPal.

Please leave non-vegan snacks and items at home out of respect for the residents and our mission. We are SO excited to see you!
