Who we are

We are a 501c3 charity, a GFAS-accredited animal sanctuary, and a wildlife preserve, operating on our president’s family property since 2012. We save abused and neglected farm animals from unthinkable circumstances, and let them live in peace and safety the remainder of their lives. Through this important work, we connect people to animals and nature, with the goal of educating, changing hearts and minds, and creating a more compassionate world.

Where we’ve been

For over a decade, together with our devoted supporters, our volunteers have worked to save lives and maintain a high standard of care for our residents and nurture our environment. Despite challenges, we strive to carry out our shared mission.

 

Where we’re going

We dream of expanding so that we can save even more lives with increased usable acres of animal pasture and housing. We dream of a space not only for animals, but one that is more accessible and accommodating for greater numbers of people to gather for humane education events and programs. We dream of a space that is more secure for the long term, given environmental changes. In short, we dream of doing more and having more impact.
